This Women’s History Month, the PIT celebrates its talented female-identifying instructors and staff, along with jam hosts and PIT friends as special guests! Not your average variety show, this is a POWERHOUSE, just like the women in the show. Featuring improv, sketch, stand up, and more in this 2 hour extravaganza, we PIT ladies do it all! There will be a brief intermission
Each show Chris Griggs (The Baldwins) puts together a cast of artists that will delve into a unique, weird, and surreal performance of improvisation set in a dream state. This daring style is both imaginative and hilarious. There will also be an opening dance number, music throughout and a special appearance by The Sandman.
Tired of the Harold? Seen a million Spokanes? At The Assignment, expert improvisers are challenged to perform insane improv forms invented by hosts Bill DiPiero and Paris Adkins. Maybe it’ll be a Reverse Slacker, or a Purgatory LaRonde, or the Human Donkey (what’s that? we don’t know… yet). Come back each month to see their latest creation.
“Join a cast of all star improvisers, comedians, and who knows what else for this night that is sure to be good old fashion fun.”
Hosted by Jake Keefe and James Quesada
Featuring Annalee Walton, DC Pierson, Erin Kiernan, Jenny Bareilles, Julia Mandelbaum, Katie Parkinson, Kim Alu, Langston Belton, Lauren Arnett, Mark Stetson, Mike Burton, Nick Carillo, Raul Maghiar, Ray Cordova, Sarah Nowack, and Steph Jacobson

From the novella The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson
Directed by Melia Bensussen
October 10 – November 3, 2024
Mayhem abounds on the streets of Victorian London in this taught psychological thriller. The well-respected Dr. Jekyll is pitted against his villainous alter-ego, the mysterious Mr. Hyde, in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse. In this witty and suspenseful adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic, decency and depravity battle to see which side will ultimately control the man.
Remember when your grandmother tried to explain the plot of “Big Trouble in Little China” to you? What if improvisers did a show about what she told you? We ask someone to watch a movie out of their wheelhouse, ask them to explain what they saw, and then we make up our own version. It’s like a game of “Telephone” with a movie. It’s the Secondhand Movie!
